Honeycomb Monoliths have high surface area per unit volume with structured air flow and excellent heat exchange properties. 5.9”X5.9”(either 5.9” or 11.8” deep) are widely used in RTO units. Cell densities range from 18 to over 100 cells per square inch. Respective packing densities are 40 to over 52 pounds per cu. ft.

Ceramics Media for Pollution Abatement

Porcelain Monoliths (honeycomb) structures and Ceramic Saddles offer excellent heat capacity, thermal shock, and chemical resistance properties for use in RTOs. Monoliths feature high density porcelain with thin-wall design and construction for efficient operation and long lifetime.
